Verified issue does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

What happened?

i'm getting a sync issue. i think it's because i have two instances open, so when i make a change on one tab and go back to the other, i'm getting the sync error.

How can we reproduce the issue?

have two tabs open - i created a new budget category on one tab and then went back to the second, which was viewing my accounts.

Where are you hosting Actual?

Pikapods

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Chrome

Operating System

Mac OSX

So it works when you have only one tab open?

yes, if i have just one tab open, i don't have the sync error. i just recently moved over from ynab, so i'm remapping some data. i was trying to use one tab to change the categories on some transactions and the other tab to budget the amounts once they moved from a spending category to an income category, but i assume that's where the error was, that the 2nd opened tab would update with the change i made on the first?

This is a known issue. For now only use one tab.
