Description

When accessing a task via a shared link with admin or read & write permissions, users are able to add comments to the task. However, they cannot edit or delete their own comments afterward.

Expected behavior:

  • Users with admin or read & write access via a shared link should be able to edit or delete their own comments on the task.

Actual behavior:

  • Comments can be added but there is no option or functionality to edit or remove those comments once posted.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Share a task via a link with admin or read & write permissions.
  2. Access the task using the shared link.
  3. Add a comment to the task.
  4. Attempt to edit or delete the comment.
  5. Observe that editing or deleting is not possible.

This issue restricts users from managing their comments even when they have sufficient permissions, which may cause frustration and affect collaboration.

This issue happens only with link shares. When a project is shared directly with a user, editing and deleting comments works as expected.

Delete Branch "%!s()"

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
