Enhance the Ollama macOS application by introducing a comprehensive pre‑flight validation pipeline that inspects available system memory, GPU/CPU resources, and swap configuration before permitting model downloads or initialization. This subsystem should automatically classify models by their minimum viable RAM footprint and execution characteristics, blocking unsupported models and issuing high‑visibility warnings when loading a model is likely to trigger memory pressure, thrashing, or system instability.

For cloud‑executed models, the Ollama must enforce substantially stronger security and data‑governance controls, including strict PHI/PII redaction, outbound‑request filtering, and explicit user consent before any data leaves the local environment. The primary chat interface should expose real‑time operational telemetry—token consumption, context‑window limits, and execution mode (local vs. cloud)—as persistent UI indicators, ensuring users have immediate visibility into resource utilization and privacy implications.
