Two follow-ups from a review pass over the prior commit's diff. `gitlab.ts` declared `callbackPath` as a template literal interpolating a local const fixed to `"gitlab"`, while the other 34 built-in providers use plain string literals. The asymmetry has no behavior cost but lets a new contributor pick either precedent. Unifying on the string form keeps the convention obvious. `mockProvider` in `create-context.test.ts` did not declare `callbackPath`. It slipped past `tsc` because the plugin `init` return type widens nested fields via `DeepPartial`. Adding the field closes the type-safety gap so the mock matches the contract the production endpoints rely on. No public API change; no runtime behavior change.

Why Better Auth
Authentication in the TypeScript ecosystem is a half-solved problem. Other open-source libraries often require a lot of additional code for anything beyond basic authentication. Rather than just pushing third-party services as the solution, I believe we can do better as a community—hence, Better Auth.
