  • I'm using the legacy Bitwarden app pubicly available in App Store / Play Store and I'm aware that Bitwarden Beta bugs should be reported in bitwarden/android or bitwarden/ios

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Go to 'Vaults...'
  2. Click on 'Folder...'
  3. Scroll down to '....'
  4. Click on '...'

Expected Result

on iOS, the "Add Item +" option is accessible directly within a folder or from the Vaults tab

Actual Result

But on Android this option is only available in the Vaults tab

In Bitwarden on iOS, the "Add Item +" option is accessible directly within a folder or from the Vaults tab. However, on Android, this option is only available in the Vaults tab. I have over 50 folders to stay organized, so I often go straight to a specific folder to add a new item, avoiding the hassle of scrolling through the entire list to find the right one. This setup is more convenient on iOS, so I'm wondering why it isn't available on Android or if there's a workaround I might be missing. I'm using the latest stable version of Bitwarden on both iOS and Android as of November 2, 2024.

Thank you for reporting your issue. 2024.10.0 was the last release from the Mobile repository. Any issue on later versions should be reported in the new Android repository. I've transferred the issue for you.

I'm also closing this issue, as it is resolved in #4250. The fix will be available in an upcoming release.
