Steps To Reproduce

  1. Go to login.live.com
  2. After Logging in, inside the security settings try to add new login method
  3. Choose bitwarden

Expected Result

Should be able see the added passkey on the webpage of Microsoft

Actual Result

Bitwarden shows that it has saved the passkey, but the MS webpage never registers it, there are no issues with Google Passkey whatsoever. The same thing happens if you try to log in using Bitwarden (excluding the keyboard shortcut). In my opinion, MS doesn't allow you to leave the page to perform actions.

  • I understand that work is tracked outside of Github. A PR will be linked to this issue should one be opened to address it, but Bitwarden doesn't use fields like "assigned", "milestone", or "project" to track progress.

See for yourself. Even though it loaded but the passkey didn't got save. Following this I'll attach the screen recording of the passkey created with Google's passkey

Hi @singh9596,

Thanks for reporting this! We're looking into the issue with Microsoft and will get back to you as soon as we have an update.

About the PayPal problem: It looks like their assetlinks.json file is missing a required statement called common.get_login_creds. According to Android's documentation, this statement is needed for Digital Asset Links to work correctly.

We suggest reaching out to PayPal to let them know about this. To help them resolve the issue, you can point them to:
