  • I'm using the new native Bitwarden Beta app and I'm aware that legacy .NET app bugs should be reported in bitwarden/mobile

Steps To Reproduce

Try to unlock after enabling unlock with pin and setting a pin

Expected Result

Shows a pop-up to unlock with pin

Actual Result

Doesn't Show the pop-up to unlock with pin, so we have to use the master password

Hello @Eve9181,

Thank you for reporting this. Please make sure that you're only locking Bitwarden, and not logging out, and please check if you had required to use the master password after Bitwarden is restarted; Please read this guide, and set up Unlock with PIN anew. I say this because I am able to successfully set up a 4 digit PIN and use it to unlock Bitwarden 2024.9.0 on Android 12.

If this behaviour persists, please feel free to create a Support ticket so we'd have a look at this together, and please also include a link to this GitHub report in the body of your ticket.

Alternatively, you can seek assistance from other Bitwarden users in our Community Forums, if you wish.

We use GitHub to track potential bugs and other development related matters; This GitHub report will be closed at this point.
