I would like to add an account to track my stock and cryptos. With the possibility to sync with the stocks/coins price to update total net worth.

Hi,
Even if I think it would be a huge job, I think integrating crypto-currencies to Actual would be a very very nice feature, especially as they can be read online very easily, so no need for gocardless or nordigen or things like that.
If there is a bounty program for actual, I'm able to make a small donation for this feature.

This is my workaround.
As they cannot be considered cash that I can budget and the market value changes constantly, I use a tracking account for these and create an adjustment to account for change in value. In reports I add those accounts for checking the current net worth.

What I'm missing, which is related, is an organic way to track both the actually invested money and the current value.
One workaround is to use one off-budget account for actual money that has gone in, with real transactions from on-budget accounts, and a twin account with the market value in which only use reconciliation entries to reflect the market value at a certain date.
It would be nice if two such accounts could be linked so AB was aware that they're actually the same account, and so this would open the door to investment tracking reports. As a further possibility, the "market value" half of the account could be linked to external providers for automatic valuations of stocks.
This is cumbersome in that reports require to select only one of the two accounts to avoid duplicated money, and in any case it throws off entirely the off-budget total in sidebar.
Another possibility is to use the sibling account to hold only the diff between market and invested; but this a hassle as brokers usually report both amounts but not the absolute difference, that you have to compute when entering into AB.
