Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

There's been some confusion ([1], [2], [3], and myself) about how to unlink a sync'd account.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

I think it makes sense to add an unlink button for each account somewhere in the Bank Sync page (it was the first place I checked, and was also proposed here).

Reasonable solutions:

  • An "Unlink account" button in each account row (mirroring the "Link account" buttons in the "Unlinked" section)
  • An "Unlink account" button or hyperlink in each "Edit" modal
  • Multi-select functionality similar to what's on the "Rules" page
    • Selecting at least one account will cause an "Unlink accounts" button to appear below the table

I'm open to other suggestions and willing to implement this myself.

Teaching and learning

Should also consider adding instructions for unlinking accounts to the documentation.
