What happened?

When I select a different language in the settings and then switch back to "System Default," the previously selected language is re-applied when I return to "Settings."

My system language is Italian, so I expect to see English by default, since Italian is not available yet.

How can we reproduce the issue?

  • Go to Settings
  • Select the German language-
  • Switch to "System Default"-
  • Exit Settings-
  • Return to Settings
