Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

Currently, when making a new account that is synced, you don't get to set the start date. This means that you get the full history of your data by default. If you don't want that, you either need to delete transactions, or create the account locally then sync after.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

Rework the process where new accounts are created and linked.

Probably modify the existing new account modal to also link to bank sync, and include a start date field.
