Description

Fixes an issue with the Cover overspending menu rapidly closing, when the browser window was too narrow.

Related issue(s)

Fixes #7667.

Testing

I could reproduce the issue in Chromium on Linux and verify that the issue was gone post change. I also checked in Firefox (where the bug was not present) and saw no regression.
