Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

When adding a new transaction in mobile and a transfer/off budget payee is selected, the category field is disabled and left blank which is expected but since it is blank (and the disabled effect is a bit subtle), it leaves the impression that you can click on it to choose a category but can't.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

In the mobile transaction entry screen, we should set the category field to Transfer or Off Budget when a transfer or offbudget account is selected, similar to how it is done in desktop. Another option is to hide the category field altogether.
