There are currently options to import files from YNAB4 & nYNAB. I think there should be an option in the same place to upload an Actual file. It should accept a file of the format exported from Settings -> Export data.

Without this I'm not aware of a (reasonably straightforward) way to migrate data from the prior server to the current (which is why it makes sense to me as an issue rather than a feature request). This migration could also be accomplished with an update to the desktop app to allow it to point at any server, but either way I think uploading actual files just makes sense.

This would also allow for storing the exported .zip as a backup while managing the server, which I believe is also needed.

I would also like to have this, any tips on how to start? Is anybody already working on it?
