Verified issue does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

What happened?

I upgraded to iOS 26.2 this morning. Following some reports on Discord, I tested Actual. I have not experienced all the issues that others have BUT:
Specifically if I try to edit the assignment to a budget the keyboard comes up and then immediately disappears again. This happens to me in Safari and Firefox (and of course in the PWA).

How can we reproduce the issue?

Upgrade to iOs26.2 and try Actual.

Where are you hosting Actual?

Fly.io

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Safari

Operating System

Mobile Device

PS I had assumed that this is the iOS26.2 upgrade and that it did not exist in the previous iteration of iOS26.

I have checked with one person who reported the issues (they have far more problems than I am seeing) and they confirm in fact from iOS26.1

@joelson-c thank you for fixing this issue! Would you mind telling me how to pull in this change? I'm running the latest 26.1 release via docker. I tried pulling the latest edge image but that doesn't seem to include your fix.

"edge" tag should have the fix. You might need to click the "update now" button in the app once you open it up though. Since the app is also stored offline and needs to ull a fresh version.

"latest" tag is the same as v26.1.0 (so no fix there yet)

You're totally right yeah my browser was caching the old version of the app. Clicked that "update now" button and boom good as new. Thanks for your help! So glad to see this issue fixed

Thanks for the fix but it aint working for me. @MatissJanis
Im using actualBudget in LXC Container from the latest Github Version (26.1.0)
Also iOS 26.3 (Beta) with a fresh Session of the app.actualBudget.com instance.
What am I doing wrong?

@MarcAroni81 the 26.1 release doesn't have this fix since the release was published prior to this fix. I had to update my Actual instance to use the edge tag docker image instead of the 26.1 release image.

@zjgoodman thanks! But will Future release contain this fix? Unfortunately I'm using public LXC helper scripts and don't want to change "their" logic. So should I just wait until it will become available with the next minor release?
