Verified issue does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

What happened?

I was trying to transfer an amount from my checking account to cash account on mobile version. I pick the transfer:cash but the app is still asking for a category and not automatically defaulting to transfer. The transferred amount is also not showing on the account that it was transferred to. It does not happen on the web version where you can click the actual transfer option under payee which is not available on mobile version.

How can we reproduce the issue?

On the mobile app try to pick a payee then transfer an amount in between accounts. The category will be missing and you cannot change it to transfer.

Where are you hosting Actual?

Pikapods

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Safari

Operating System

Mobile Device

Is it the correct payee?

For me it doesn't show up as "transfer : cash"
Rather as "Transfer to cash"

Not on IOS but I assume it's same seeing it is a webapp.

Agreed, looks like you're using a custom payee here, not the builtin transfer ones.

It will not be, if you do not use the builtin transfer payees
