Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

When filling an income transaction, I often mistakingly put the amount in “Payment” field because I’m used to hitting Tab four times in a row.

It may be more ergonomic to directly go to “Deposit” field when hitting Tab after having entered an “Income” transaction.

Maybe even disable (grey out) the field “Payment” for income categories, and the field “Deposit” for expense categories, with option to enable them only for special “Reimbursement” (as proposed in #1519) transactions, or collapse them in one “Amount” field as #4964 proposes.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem
