Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

I had made a change on the server end and the "server offline" message at the top left was not easy to see. I missed it for several hours. Wondering if anyone thought of a better way to let us know the server is offline?

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

Maybe a message under the Add New button or something in red? Could only be if there is a self-hosted server even.
