Verified issue does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue
  • I will be providing steps how to reproduce the bug (in most cases this will also mean uploading a demo budget file)

What happened?

Windows desktop stand-alone, latest version, clean install, Windows 10 fully updated. Trying to import YNAB4 budget but it never completes, stays "spinning" forever. If I cancel it and reload Actual then I can see all the accounts but they all have a $0 balance with no entries. Posted on Discord but was recommended to post here as a bug.

Where are you hosting Actual?

Desktop App (Electron)

What browsers are you seeing the problem on?

Desktop App (Electron)

Operating System

Windows 10

Yeah, sorry about that. I meant to ask if there was an error log as I wasn't comfortable with sending my budget file. I figured out how to view the log and found the error; there was apparently a hidden category with a duplicate name. Changing the names fixed it. Thank you.
