Verified feature request does not already exist?

  • I have searched and found no existing issue

💻

  • Would you like to implement this feature?

Pitch: what problem are you trying to solve?

In the left-hand menu (desktop version) we can collapse / expand Closed Accounts so that we can either see the list of closed accounts or have them hidden from view.

As a user with ~20 on-budget accounts and ~40 off-budget ones, I'd like to be able to choose to hide or display the individual accounts under each group.

Describe your ideal solution to this problem

The section headings for on- and off-budget accounts should ideally function in a similar way to that for closed accounts. There would need to be some provision to replicate the existing functionality (if you click the budget group you get taken to a filtered view displaying all accounts under that group).

Teaching and learning

This should be an intuitive change and would harmonise the functionality for the three account groups.
