Description

Hello,

I’m reporting a problem with bulk task actions on mobile.

Summary

On the mobile app, I can select multiple tasks, but I cannot perform actions on them afterward, such as:

• mark all selected tasks as done
• delete selected tasks
• apply any bulk action

On mobile web, there is no option to multi-select tasks in the first place.

What I tested

• Updated self-hosted Vikunja from v2.1.0 to v2.3.0
• Restarted the service
• Verified the API is working normally
• Verified task create/delete works correctly through the backend
• Tested on the Today Tasks project and other projects

Current behavior

Mobile app

• Multi-select is visible and I can select multiple tasks
• Bulk action controls do not work afterward

Mobile browser

• There is no multi-select option available at all

Expected behavior

• On mobile app: after selecting multiple tasks, bulk actions should work normally
• On mobile web: either multi-select should be available, or it should be clearly documented as unsupported

Environment

• Self-hosted Vikunja
• Docker deployment
• Current tested backend version: 2.3.0
• Public URL: custom domain
• Issue reproduced on mobile usage specifically

Important note

This does not appear to be a database issue or a project-specific issue.
Task creation, deletion, and backend/API behavior are working correctly.
This seems more like a mobile frontend / app limitation or bug.

If needed, I can provide more details about device type, browser, and exact reproduction steps.
