Description

Reproduction:

  1. Create a project with a parent project
  2. Edit the sub-project
  3. ℹ️ Click the "x" of the "Parent Project" field - it doesn't do anything (see #2045 )
  4. Manually delete the value of the "Parent Project"
  5. ⚠️ the value immediately gets put back into the input field
  6. ❌ Saving still clears the parent project despite it being in the input field, which is confusing.

Browser and version

Vivaldi 7.7.3851.66 (Chromium 142.0.7444.245)

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
