It seems the latest version of the New Edge extension on Win11:

As part of the login process reaches out to the URL .../api/tasks this provides a 404, then error
"/api/tasks 404 (Not Found)"

This seems to produce an unhandled error and then repeatedly tries to decrypt the private key for user:
Failed to decrypt private key for user xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Am: SDK loading failed: TypeError: Failed to fetch
