Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?

@MaanasaDornala, have you read the spec? It is rather explicit regarding the syntax of a SemVer string. Anything that does not match it, is not a SemVer string.
