Describe the Bug

When trying to connect from macOS or iOS the Pangolin is stuck on "Registering". One time it said Started on iOS, but since then it stopped working.

I went through #2091 but the profile is activated. I also double-checked the firewall and found that 21820 (UDP) was missing. But even after adding it and restarting services it doesn't work.

This is the log from Pangolin (looking good to me!)

Environment

  • OS Type & Version: iOS 26.6 / macOS 26.2
  • Pangolin Version: 1.15.1
  • Gerbil Version: 1.3.0
  • Traefik Version: 3.6
  • Newt Version: 1.9.0

To Reproduce

Login to self-hosted Pangolin instance and try to establish connection.

Image

Expected Behavior

Connection can be established successfully.

I found it. In the status of the mobile app one could see that it is connected to the "organization", but disconnected to the site. So I checked the Newt between pangolin and site and though it was working, it was logging errors in the Newt container. restart fixed it, hopefully will stay like this :-)

thank you! i saw no errors whatsoever, but when i had private site setup, my pangolin client would not connect, i needed to restart the newt docker container to get it running
