Describe the Bug

Recently upgraded to 1.16.2 and now my IDP that is configured and working no longer appears in the list of IDPs.

Image

I'm still able to protect resources using the platform SSO and it works, but I can't see it in the list or change the config. Given that I don't go to this page often, I can't say which version I was on when it last showed correctly.

Environment

  • OS Type & Version: Ubuntu 22.04 / Docker
  • Pangolin Version: 1.16.2
  • Gerbil Version: latest
  • Traefik Version: 3.4.0
  • Newt Version:
  • Olm Version: (if applicable)

To Reproduce

No idea I'm afraid!

Expected Behavior

The IDP should be present in the list of IDPs

The page you are showing is the organization identity providers, if you were on a version lower you may have setup an IDP that wasnt tied directly to the organization.

If you login as a server admin, there should be an option above networks called "server admin" which will show all "global" IDP providers which is where all of the older versions show the IDP's since they wasnt tied directly to an org.

if this isnt the case, could you let us know if you are using EE or CE?

Ah I see. I have the same email address associated with my SSO login and with my original login from setting up the platform so I assumed they would be the same user account with the same privileges but it seems that's not the case.

Weirdly as a Server Admin, when I go in and look at All Users, it only lists a single user that is associated with the IDP. The other account doesn't seem to be listed.

I noticed the same thing and got really confused that I couldn't add my idp. I mean it's okay when you read the description/warning for the organization idp but when you come from an earlier version with its configuration and had it setup already it's kinda annoying. 🙈😅
