Curious if it'd be possible to add the ability to pass a header with the user's account name. This might also require the ability to assign an actual username to users instead of their email address.

I use a few services Calibre-Web for example that allow you to pass a header from your authentication to bypass their local auth login. This would be helpful so I can have another user who is signed in be forwarded to the proper account on the resource instead of having to sign in again to it.

Great idea! This might be kind of similar to https://github.com/orgs/fosrl/discussions/455 but I think is different enough. It might get rolled into the same feature.

We are interested in doing this soon but are not quite ready yet. I am going to move this to a feature discussion for now so people can upvote!

Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
