Enter prompt into openwebui and the models are responding....
Actual Behavior
After i enter my prompt and wait some time, CPU usage is present, memory as well, i see VRAM usage, and GPU usage, then just stop by printing "SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'd', "data: {"id"... is not valid JSON" On any model, the system encounters a JSON parsing error that prevents normal operation.
Steps to Reproduce
Allow the Watchtower-managed Docker container of Open WebUI to update automatically.
Start the Open WebUI service.
Enter your prompt
Observe the error message in webui chat window:
SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'd', "data: {"id"... is not valid JSON

Description
After today’s automatic update (via watchtower) of Open WebUI running in Docker, all models are now throwing the following error:
SyntaxError: Unexpected token 'd', "data: {"id"... is not valid JSON
Everything was functioning normally on both machines yesterday. The issue appears immediately upon start-up, affecting all models.

Me too. Happens on litellm models, ollama models, outside of pipelines. Even after disabling all filters.
Contrary to you I am using the cuda container not the ollama one.
What's worrying me is that rolling back to 6.4 nor 6.3 does not seem to solve the issue.

I rolled back to 6.4 then 6.3 and the issue seems to persist. And my litellm proxy is indeed receiving the requests and sending a response but open-webui's parsing seems broken.
Has anyone found a way to rollback?

Update: now it started working again. I don't know what I did but the rolling back was not an instantanneous fix.

We didn’t update any code regarding this as far as I’m concerned. You’d usually see this error message if your WebSocket is misconfigured, so this might have more to do with your configuration than Open WebUI itself, keep us updated!

Thanks! I upgraded again to 0.6.5 and it worked fine right away.
I do believe that this indicate a deeper bug related to states of the app. Plausibly related to things getting cached somewhere in the browser or elsewhere.
AFAIK this issue can be closed but the lack of anything relevant in the logs even though the app is clearly crashing is concerning. This
Unexpected token ... Invalid JSONerror seem to pop up here and there at various situation over the updates for as long as I can remember using open-webui, I am therefore concluding that it's pretty deep and forbids a real error message from being raised to the user.Maybe that indicates that this would be an non specific error in the error handling on the client side? I'm guessing there is some client side code execution that can autonomously raise or print exceptions and fails here, possibly because talking to an out of date app (the browser not being restarted, some cache refer to the previous open-webui instance).

Observation regarding the bug report. During both installations, when Watchtower automatically upgraded OpenWebUI from v0.6.4 to v0.6.5 in our Docker environment, both OpenWebUI containers displayed an "unhealthy" status(in dockge). This status persisted for at least thirty minutes before I noticed the issue and manually restarted the container.
Again just to clarify AGAIN. Both installation of mine behaved the same crashing openwebui container after Watchtower upgrades.
As you can see, from my part does nothing changed on the cloudflared configuration... both installed same time openwebui and cloudflared tunnel...

No it always stayed healthy. Just that trying to use any model would raise the error. I suspect that restarting the browser helped. But this is something else if your instance appears unhealthy.
