Expected Behavior

In dark mode, the background color should remain uniform.

Actual Behavior

When in dark mode, the background color inappropriately retains its light mode appearance.

Steps to Reproduce

This issue can be reproduced in the mobile browser by performing a pull-to-refresh gesture.
