I have searched for all existing open AND closed issues and discussions for similar requests. I have found none that is comparable to my request.

Verify Feature Scope

I have read through and understood the scope definition for feature requests in the Issues section. I believe my feature request meets the definition and belongs in the Issues section instead of the Discussions.

Problem Description

Related to discussion #20178

When Channels feature is turned off in Admin, the User Status features are still visible for the users.

The blinking/animated online icon is irritating and not UX friendly.

Desired Solution you'd like

All User Status features and "online" animation should be hidden when Channels feature is turned off in Admin Settings.
Even better would be to have a separate control i Admin regarding this, so we can use Channels feature without User status
The Active indicator should not be animated (best to just make it solid green) and/or be put inside the User Settings menu.

Additional Context

I actually do not think there is a meaning of seeing your own Active indicator, not sure what the point is. If I'm in the app, I'm online and active. No need to remind myself of this.
