  • I have searched all existing open AND closed issues and discussions for similar requests. I have found none that is comparable to my request.

Problem Description

Qwen3-Next has the included in the chat template, which Open Webui doesn't recognizes it, causing the thinking content to not be recognized.

Desired Solution you'd like

Add an option to always start as thinking without

Alternatives Considered

None, cuz im dumb.

Additional Context

I have noticed #18058 and https://github.com/vllm-project/vllm/issues/26239 , and I don't think any of the responses are actually related/can fix this issue, I personally think it's a frontend issue. If you (or other helpful people) can provide a workaround/update Open Webui to fix this, I'll be very much appreciated.
