I have searched the existing issues and discussions.

Problem Description

The new grouping of buttons for Web search, image generation and other filters is good, if you have too many of these buttons.
However, if you only have two or three of them, grouping means not only an additional click, but also and primarily that inexperienced users will see only a generic icon that tells them nothing. We have several requests for features like web search, image generation and thinking on/off, that we already provide using Open WebUI with the built-in functionality, but users do not find it, because it is hidden too well.

Desired Solution you'd like

Please make it configurable (not per user, but for the admin as an overall setting) whether buttons are grouped or not.

Alternatives Considered

We have built a workaround to make a filter for "no thinking" on per default, so users can turn it off with the button and the button is always shown and not grouped, but we would want it the other way around (thinking on per default) and we have the same issue with web search and image generation where we have no workaround.

Agreed, love the new UI change for most tools, but the core components being one click away is missed.
