Problem Description
Currently, Lorebooks do not exist in OWUI
Desired Solution you'd like
Is it possible to add lorebooks into OWUI? They exist in SillyTavern. I know they may seem to be just for roleplay purposes, but they are actually very versatile and can be used for many other things.
I can't describe it better then this article: https://docs.sillytavern.app/usage/core-concepts/worldinfo/
If OWUI got lorebooks it would completely replace ST for me.
Most importantly, you can control how much context a lorebook takes up in chat. So, you can set it to say 60% of the available context and it will never use more then that for the lorebook itself.

Hello Frenzybiscuit, I think the best would be for you to create a discussion in the Discussions sections to get the input of other collaborators and maintainers, also other people that might be interested in this feature. have read the article and I find it personally really interesting and would be worth trying to integrate with OpenWebUI. Creating an issue right await is not the best way in my opinion because if I go and implement and finally, maintainers think that it wouldn't match the identity of OWUI since this feature is implemented in a competing tool to OWUI, then it would be wasted work. I hope you understand.

Hi!
I submitted this as a feature request on github because it's explained in the system you can submit feature requests that way on github.
I have opened a discussion for it though! https://github.com/open-webui/open-webui/discussions/16534

No, you did great. I was just saying that if you wanted to get actual comprehensive feedback from people and have more exposure, you would more easily get it through discussions than an issue.
Greetings.
