Changelog Entry

Description

The chat:tasks:cancel handler in Chat.svelte wasn't checking whether the incoming event was for the current message. If a cancel event arrived for a non-current message, it would still clear taskIds for the whole chat and mark the wrong set of sibling messages as done.

The fix adds a check for event.message_id === history.currentId. If it matches, the existing reset logic runs as before. If not, it just marks that specific message as done. Also removed the redundant responseMessage variable since message already holds the same reference in that branch.
