Installation Method

Installed via pip

Environment

  • Open WebUI Version: v0.5.14

  • Ollama: Unknown

  • Operating System: Windows 10

  • Browser: Chrome

Expected Behavior:

When deleting a knowledge base in the workspace, the application should handle the deletion gracefully and maintain stability.

Actual Behavior:

Deleting a knowledge base causes unexpected application crashes. The UI becomes unresponsive and requires a restart to recover functionality.

Bug Summary:
Workspace instability and crashes occur when attempting to delete knowledge bases.

Reproduction Details

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Navigate to Workspace section
  2. Select any existing knowledge base
  3. Click delete button
  4. Confirm deletion in dialog
  5. Application crashes immediately after deletion confirmation
