Hey OpenWebUI team! 👋

I've been exploring the new skills feature that was recently introduced and I'm really excited about it! The framework looks promising for extending OpenWebUI's capabilities.

I'd love to know more about the roadmap for skills:

  • What additional skill types are planned? (e.g. webhooks, database connectors, file processors)
  • Are there plans for a skill marketplace or community hub?
  • What about skill permissions/security - sandboxing, isolation?
  • Any API improvements or SDK enhancements on the horizon?
  • Will skills be able to interact with each other or chain together?

The current implementation feels like it has huge potential. Looking forward to seeing how this feature evolves! 🚀

P.S. If there's a development roadmap or tracking issue I should follow, please point me to it. Thanks!

For upcoming things always have a lookout for the current dev branch and feel free to help us test upcoming features to ensure they are stable before release
