Check Existing Issues

  • I have searched for all existing open AND closed issues and discussions for similar requests. I have found none that is comparable to my request.

Verify Feature Scope

  • I have read through and understood the scope definition for feature requests in the Issues section. I believe my feature request meets the definition and belongs in the Issues section instead of the Discussions.

Problem Description

The version of the install for installing open-webui with ollama support does not allow for accessing localhost:11434 which in turn does not allow for connecting the phone app to the server at this time to my knowledge. Unless I am mistaken. The port is claimed to already be in use and when you try to go to the browser page, it does not connect at this time to say that ollama is online like when you install ollama in standalone mode.

Desired Solution you'd like

If I am mistaken, can someone please guide me in this matter. I would absolutely love to be able to connect the app to my server and have full functionality. The attached screenshot is the terminal output when you attempt to activate ollama with the serve command.
