Problem Description

It would be nice to forcely disable image compression when user posts something into a channel, because images there are made to be read by people who don't go crazy when resolution is too big. Also images in channels are more important

Desired Solution you'd like

A checkbox inside "settings"->"interface"->"File"

Alternatives Considered

  • Add a checkbox "compress images" next to attachments when user is writing a message
  • Separate compression parameters for images in channels
