  • Start with the initial platform/version/OS and dependencies used,
  • Specify exact install/launch/configure commands,

  • Include any files or environmental changes,
  • Identify the expected and actual result at each stage,
  • Ensure any reasonably skilled user can follow and hit the same issue.

Expected Behavior

The Models are loaded by the SentenceTransformer and embedding vectors are generated

Actual Behavior

the retrieval process crashes

Steps to Reproduce

  • configure jinaai/jina-embeddings-v4 as embedding model
  • set 'SENTENCE_TRANSFORMERS_MODEL_KWARGS={"default_task": "retrieval"}'
  • upload a document to a knowledge
