Description

  • Fixed an issue causing persistent Failed to load function module log spam in the backend when imported or custom models requested tools or filters that the user did not have installed locally.

Changed

  • Modified get_all_models in backend/open_webui/utils/models.py to cross-reference requested action and filter IDs against actual installed database items before attempting to cache them. Missing items are now gracefully ignored.

Fixed

  • Handled false-positive backend spam (Failed to load function module for [function_id]: Function not found:) when querying the model library.

Additional Information

  • Context: Downloading models from the Community Hub frequently brings over metadata actionIds or filterIds that correspond to tools the creator used but the downloader does not have installed. The backend was previously trying to load every single requested function module into the cache, throwing an exception for each uninstalled tool and clogging up server logs.
