Check Existing Issues

  • I have searched for all existing open AND closed issues and discussions for similar requests. I have found none that is comparable to my request.

Verify Feature Scope

  • I have read through and understood the scope definition for feature requests in the Issues section. I believe my feature request meets the definition and belongs in the Issues section instead of the Discussions.

Problem Description

Followup questions are often questions to which the answer is negative.

Desired Solution you'd like

Follow-up questions should be designed to surface information the user might find interesting or relevant and allow them to better explore the sources.

Alternatives Considered

No response

Additional Context

I find it frustrating using followup questions in text I’m not familiar with only to be told the text doesn’t provide an answer to the questions suggested to me as a followup. I’m expecting followup questions to help explore the text beyond what I’ve asked and surface what I might have missed.

You can easily change the prompt for the follow up questions in the admin panel to adjust it to your liking
