Check Existing Issues

  • I have searched the existing issues and discussions.
  • I am using the latest version of Open WebUI.

Installation Method

Docker

Open WebUI Version

v0.6.5

Ollama Version (if applicable)

No response

Operating System

ubuntu 22

Browser (if applicable)

No response

Confirmation

  • I have read and followed all instructions in README.md.
  • I am using the latest version of both Open WebUI and Ollama.
  • I have included the browser console logs.
  • I have included the Docker container logs.
  • I have listed steps to reproduce the bug in detail.

Expected Behavior

Clicking on Advanced params should not have an impact on other settings.

Actual Behavior

In the model settings, when clicking on Advanced params the system prompts gets erased. This is pretty frustrating as because clicking on Advanced params unrolls a menu, the fact the the prompt disappears visually looks like it was rolled up but actually it was erased.

As you can see in that image:

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Go to worksace then models
  2. Edit/create a model
  3. enter a system prompt
  4. click on Advanced params to unroll advanced parameters
  5. Notice the prompt was erased

Logs & Screenshots

Nothing appears in the browser log nor docker logs

Additional Information

It has been going on for a while, I'd say at least version 0.4 and possibly before that. This is pretty frustrating because it's visually tricking and hard to pick up if not aware.
