Installation Method

Docker

Environment

  • Open WebUI Version: v0.4.8

  • Operating System: Linux

  • Browser (if applicable): Chrome

Confirmation:

  • [x ] I have read and followed all the instructions provided in the README.md.
  • I am on the latest version of both Open WebUI and Ollama.
  • [x ] I have included the browser console logs.
  • I have included the Docker container logs.
  • [x ] I have provided the exact steps to reproduce the bug in the "Steps to Reproduce" section below.

Expected Behavior:

The ability to download the chat in PDF format.

Actual Behavior:

Not able to download some of the chat in PDF format

Not able to download some of the chat in PDF format

Reproduction Details

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Start a new chat
  2. Enter Hi
  3. Once the response is generated, try to download the chat as PDF

"Character "😊" at index 55 in text is outside the range of characters supported by the font used: "courier". Please consider using a Unicode font."
