  • I am using the latest version of both Open WebUI and Ollama.

  • I have clearly listed every relevant configuration, custom setting, environment variable, and command-line option that influences my setup (such as Docker Compose overrides, .env values, browser settings, authentication configurations, etc).
  • I have documented step-by-step reproduction instructions that are precise, sequential, and leave nothing to interpretation. My steps:
  • Start with the initial platform/version/OS and dependencies used,
  • Specify exact install/launch/configure commands,
  • List URLs visited, user input (incl. example values/emails/passwords if needed),
  • Describe all options and toggles enabled or changed,
  • Include any files or environmental changes,
  • Identify the expected and actual result at each stage,
  • Ensure any reasonably skilled user can follow and hit the same issue.

Expected Behavior

When using Open Web UI v0.6.33 on a Windows 11 machine I am not able to successfully download a large chat history as a PDF-- trying to download large chat histories on the newest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Edge does not download the contents of the file but (depending on the browser) instead downloads blank pages or nothing at all.

Actual Behavior

On the newest versions of Firefox and Edge, 95 blank PDF pages were generated when trying to save my long chat history as a PDF. On the newest version of Firefox, PDFs would not download.

Steps to Reproduce

On a Windows 11 machine:

  • Open the newest version of Chrome, Firefox, or Edge
  • Navigate to the chat interface
  • Create or click an existing very long chat history
  • Click on the 3 horizontal dots on the upper right of the chat interface
  • Click Download > PDF document

Likely an OOM issue, open to PRs but I doubt there would be a trivial fix for this.
