I have searched for all existing open AND closed issues and discussions for similar requests. I have found none that is comparable to my request.

Verify Feature Scope

I have read through and understood the scope definition for feature requests in the Issues section. I believe my feature request meets the definition and belongs in the Issues section instead of the Discussions.

Problem Description

Extend OpenWebUI to support OpenAI’s image generation/editing endpoints directly via its API.

This would allow seamless integration with Nextcloud for:

Text-to-image generation (e.g., create logos, art).
Image editing (modify files stored in Nextcloud).
Would enable direct AI-powered visual workflows without external tools.

Desired Solution you'd like

Extend the current implementation of the /openai/ endpoints with the corresponding Image section
