Problem Description

Currently, when users view files in the knowledge base, they can directly access and download the original files. However, my organization requires stricter permission controls over file access.

Desired Solution you'd like

Implement a watermarking feature. Add watermarks to all system pages. When viewing files, overlay them with semi-transparent text, supporting customizable watermark content (e.g., username, organization name, timestamp, etc.). This should not affect the original file but only alter the viewing experience.
Add configuration for download permissions on knowledge base files. The current system has access control for the knowledge base, but we request the addition of download permission controls for document libraries.

Alternatives Considered

Potentially more advantageous solutions are available for further detailed discussion.

Improved document security

Prevention of unauthorized sharing
