Changelog Entry

Description

Previously compressImage always exported as PNG, which ironically could cause JPEG images to balloon 3-10x in size. Large data: URIs have considerable implications for front-end performance (UI gets sluggish e.g. https://github.com/open-webui/open-webui/discussions/11941), so the smaller these are, the better.
