  1. Please let us choose the drive and directory we want Ollama and the models to be installed in. I DO NOT allow ANY programs to install to my user profiles. Especially not multi gigabyte LLM's. Ollama just goes ahead and does so without even asking, WTF? I had to let it install and then move it to where I saw fit. Same goes for the models. Having to dork around with ENV variables in 2025 is very lame.

  2. The last few automatic updates left garbage behind from legacy versions that caused my models to crash. Cuda12 folder, or whatever. Please make the updater remove these things. Having to open GitHub tickets for dumb issues like this just wastes everyone's time.
