I'm running Ollama directly on Windows 11, not inside a Docker container. Hence I have the little System Tray icon that notifies when a new version is available.

A few minutes ago, I noticed that 0.9.5 was released, and I wanted to run the update. There doesn't seem to be any method of forcing Ollama to "check" for a new update. I exited the application from the right-click context menu, and restarted it a couple times, but that didn't seem to trigger an update check.

Feature Request: Add a right-click context menu item to the Ollama system tray icon, to force it to check for an update.

Alternative idea: Add an ollama CLI sub-command like ollama check to force an update check.
