Some models, including Kimi K2 are only available in cloud version.
But some of us have big datacenters that could run Kimi K2 locally.
Why isn't it available for local use ?

Should we leave Ollama to be able to use this great models ?

@ouic There are some big models coming! We have new multiheaded latent attention support for Deepseek 3.1. Also keep your eyes peeled later this week.

This does not answer the question. This is off topic.

Are all of those models coming as downloads for local use or will some of them stay cloud only forever?

Please reopen this issue until we get a proper answer

I think he means :
"Ollama is is going to be closed source ... use LlamaCPP or Docker Models instead !"
